Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila marked a truly momentous evening as it celebrated both the start of the festive season and its 10th anniversary—A Golden Decade and Beyond—through its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event held on November 21, 2025.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon. Emi Calixto-Rubiano, Luigi Calixto-Rubiano, and Adrian D. Moreno, acting Executive Assistant to Regional Director Agustin. Also in attendance was Commander Jimmy Vingno of the Coast Guard Base Farola, joining the hotel in celebrating this meaningful milestone.

Led by Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila General Manager Ellen Mendoza, the honored guests illuminated the hotel’s grand Christmas tree—symbolizing not only the official start of the holiday season but also a shining tribute to the hotel’s 10 remarkable years of hospitality, resilience, and growth.

Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila, located in Pasay City, is your “sleep sanctuary.” It is conveniently located next to the biggest shopping mall in the Philippines–SM Mall of Asia, as well as sports and concert venues–SMX Convention Center, MOA Arena, and is in the heart of the Entertainment Center of Metro Manila. The hotel comprises of 281 spacious and fashionably designed rooms and suites, overlooking the downtown metropolis through its floor to ceiling windows. The hotel likewise boasts two in-house restaurants, Gold Spices Restaurant and Amore Bread & Booze.

The evening was hosted by Bianca Baring, guiding guests through a heartwarming program that celebrated both tradition and a decade of milestones.

A touching toast, festive musical performances by Coro Jesu, and shared moments of joy filled the celebration, reminding everyone of the spirit of togetherness that defines the season.

The magnificent Christmas tree—glowing with elegant gold accents—stood as a testament to the creativity and dedication of the hotel’s team, led by the Housekeeping Dept. and trainees.
