Pico de Loro Cove ushered in the holiday season with a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at Pico Beach last November 16. The event was led by Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club Chariwoman Elizabeth T. Sy, Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club President Rita Dy, and Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club and Pico Sands Hotel General Manager Maxi Gavino.

Home away from home

In her welcome message, GM Maxi Gavino shares, “This year, our decorations reflect the theme #HomeForTheHolidays. Turtles are at the heart of our design, symbolizing their journey back to the sea after nesting in the cove. Just as they find their way home, we invite our members and guests to feel the warmth and comfort of home with us as you create cherished memories with your loved ones.”

Annually adorned with sustainable holiday decorations, the Pico CRAFTMas team led by the Housekeeping and Engineering teams come up with innovative and creative ideas that incorporate upcycled and locally sourced materials found inside the property in their designs.

A night to remember

PDLBCC President Rita Dy gives a hint of what everyone can look forward to in her Christmas message, emphasizing that one will never fall short of things to do while in Pico de Loro Cove – from dining, spa, to events. Some of the highlights include the sought-after selling of the Christmas hampers and the New Year’s Eve Countdown Party by the events park garden.

Filled with holiday cheer and vibrant smiles, guests enjoyed the performance of stage, television, and recording artist Arman Ferrer.
