Gold Fortune Textile (GFT), one of the leading textile and garments providers in the country, showcased its finest fabrics for clothes and homes, sewing accessories and equipment, and more at the first-ever “Shop Taytay” bazaar of Taytay, Rizal-based medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) being held from September 12 to 14, 2025, 10 AM to 10 PM, at the Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall.
The bazaar features high-quality ready-to-wear clothes (RTWs), crafts, shoes, food, among others at affordable prices. Entrance to the public is free.
It aims to support MSMEs by showcasing and bringing their products closer to more people through the bazaar.

GFT, along with GFT Foundation, are major sponsors of the event with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office and Taytay local government unit as partners.
“Our goal extends beyond earning profits — we also want to help small businesses in Taytay, especially tiangge owners, gain recognition and attract more customers with their unique products,” said GFT CEO Enrico Sy.
He added, “Supporting the ‘Shop Taytay’ event directly aligns with GFT’s vision and mission by expanding our presence as a leading provider of textiles and garments. Our aim to provide customers with high-quality, affordable textiles and efficient processes is reflected in empowering small businesses and tiangge owners to grow their markets.
By helping entrepreneurs showcase their products, we make quality garments more accessible to a broader audience, which is a key part of our mission.”

Furthermore, GFT’s value of treating people like family extends beyond the community it serves. Sponsoring this event demonstrates its dedication to supporting local businesses, encouraging growth, and fostering stronger community ties.
Shoppers can expect over a hundred booths at the bazaar, offering textile, sewing equipment and accessories, local apparel brands, bags, shoes, fashion accessories, home care products, as well as Taytay’s local delicacies.
GFT also operates a branch in Cebu offering a wide range of products, including accessories, plain and printed fabrics, and sewing equipment. Among the highlighted items at the bazaar are its high-quality Eyelet, Challis-Rayon, and Brocade fabrics.

“To ensure excellence, we prioritize using GFT fabrics in our production, maintaining high-quality standards while enhancing the style of Taytay-made garments. GFT fabric remains the foundation of our creations,” stated Sy, who is also the chairman of GFT Foundation.
GFT’s participation in this event emphasizes the efforts of Taytay’s business owners. Sy believed it will positively impact Taytay’s economy, as tiangge owners will have a great opportunity to reach more customers, boost sales, and potentially create jobs.

With lively displays and interactive booths, the “Shop Taytay” bazaar promises more than just a shopping experience — it’s a celebration of Taytay’s craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit. Visitors can look forward to live demonstrations and special offers that showcase the dedication and skill in each product. Beyond just commerce, the event encourages collaboration among local businesses, forging new partnerships and innovations within Taytay’s vibrant textile and apparel industry.
