Celebrating a decade of unprecedented success, Belmont Hotel Manila now stands as property giant Megaworld’s most-booked hospitality property in Metro Manila that continues to shape the company’s growing hospitality footprint.
Located at Newport City in Pasay and directly connected to NAIA Terminal 3 via Runway Manila, the hotel has maintained a high rate of occupancy – an achievement that the property has managed to sustain even during the pandemic years. Since 2020, Belmont Hotel Manila has posted an average annual growth of 12 percent in room revenue, reflecting both operational resilience and the steady return of travel demand.
This sustained performance has reinforced Megaworld Hotels & Resorts’ standing as the Philippines’ largest hotel developer and operator with almost 9,000 room keys across 14 properties nationwide.

A proud bearer of Megaworld’s signature ‘Sampaguita’ hospitality
Belmont Hotel Manila’s continued growth, paired with the Sampaguita brand of service of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts, has set the benchmark for expansion. This inspired new hospitality experiences in key tourism destinations like Boracay, Cebu, Bacolod, and Iloilo, giving rise to more hotel brands such as Savoy Hotel, Kingsford Hotel, and Grand Westside Hotel.
“The story of Belmont Hotel Manila represents the direction where Philippine hospitality is headed – one that combines inclusivity, sustainability, and investment growth. As new hotels rise across the country, our mission remains clear: to continue building spaces that honor Filipino warmth while keeping pace with the world’s evolving travel standards,” shares Cleofe Albiso, Managing Director of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts.
In recent years, Belmont Hotel Manila has expanded its offerings to support Muslim-friendly tourism, enhancing inclusivity and aligning with the Department of Tourism’s (DOTs) initiatives to promote diverse and culturally responsive travel experiences.

Exciting growth prospects ahead
Aside from its strong domestic market, Belmont Hotel Manila continues to attract a substantial flow of foreign guests, mainly from the United States, Australia, Japan, and Great Britain.
Over the years, Belmont Hotel Manila has earned recognition both locally and internationally for its consistent service excellence. In 2019, the hotel received two major distinctions from the World Luxury Hotel Awards, winning Luxury Airport Hotel and Luxury City Hotel (Southern Asia).
More recently, the hotel was honored with a 2024 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award and nominated for Asia and the Philippines’ Leading City Hotel at the 2025 World Travel Awards.
These recognition serve to underscore the hotel’s continued leadership in the region’s hospitality scene.
With 15 hotels and over 7,000 rooms to be added to the group’s hospitality portfolio in the coming years, Megaworld Hotels and Resorts is now entering new major tourism markets in Pampanga, Palawan, and Bacolod, carrying forward the legacy that began with Belmont Hotel Manila in Newport City.
“Belmont Hotel Manila will always hold a special place in our history. Our investors have been part of this journey from the very beginning, and we make it our mission to care by ensuring that their investments continue to grow with us. Their trust and partnership are at the heart of what makes Belmont Hotel Manila truly special,” adds Cluster General Manager Sonny Alvaro.
