Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Manila officially ushered in the holidays with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, celebrating this year’s evocative theme, “Season of Joy.” The evening paid tribute to togetherness, warmth, and the timeless tradition of gathering with those who make the season truly meaningful.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests led by Elizabeth Sy, President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC); Hans Sy, Chairman of SM Prime Holdings Inc.; and Peggy Angeles, Executive Vice President of SMHCC; together with Hon. Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano of Pasay City.
A beautifully curated musical program, directed by Nestor Jardin, set the tone for the night. Performances by Vien King, The Opera Belles, and Bernie Pasamba and the Music Masters filled the lobby with orchestral splendor and festive warmth. The celebration continued with an elegant cocktail buffet thoughtfully prepared by the Lanson Place Culinary Team.

In delivering her message, Peggy Angeles shared a heartfelt reflection on the evening’s theme:
