The Halal Certification confirms that Edsa Shangri-La, Manila meets the highest standards of food, preparation, safety, and hygiene in line with the Islamic dietary laws and specifications. With this recognition, the hotel is now able to serve Halal menus at events such as corporate gatherings, weddings, and conferences, ensuring that all food is prepared in accordance with strict Halal guidelines.

In October 2024, HDIP began its series of in-depth training for various operating teams of Edsa Shangri-La, Manila including food safety and hygiene, culinary, engineering, stewarding, purchasing, receiving, service, and management. Edsa Shangri-La, Manila recognizes the growing demand for Halal food options as the hospitality industry becomes more diverse. This certification reflects the hotel’s holistic approach and commitment towards inclusivity, understanding and presenting a positive environment for Muslim travellers and business professionals.
