Sotogrande Hotel Baguio officially ushered in the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, led by General Manager Ella Delos Santos, and joined by key city officials and major partners from Sta. Lucia Group and Enderun Hotels.
The event was honored by the presence of Hon. Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Sta. Lucia Land Inc. Vice President for Construction Liberato Robles, and Enderun Hotels Business Development Director Carlo Librea.
Delos Santos highlighted Sotogrande Hotel Baguio’s mission to blend tradition with innovative hospitality.
“Tonight, we are not simply lighting a tree—we are reaffirming the values that make the Christmas season meaningful: hope, unity, and the spirit of togetherness. This tree represents the enduring Filipino Christmas spirit and serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to remain grateful and to continue serving our guests and our community with warmth, professionalism, and excellence,” Delos Santos said.
Its theme, “A Timeless Holiday Glow,” reflects Sotogrande Hotel Baguio’s commitment to honoring tradition while embracing optimism for the years ahead.
“The choice of green as our primary color underscores this message, symbolizing life, renewal, and resilience. Even in challenging seasons, green reminds us that growth, strength, and new beginnings are always possible,” added Delos Santos.
The program highlighted live entertainment, a presentation of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, and the grand lighting of the Sotogrande Christmas Tree—a symbol of community celebration.
