NAITAS officially launched the countdown to this milestone event on November 22 at SAVEA Bay City Manila.
The launch served as the official unveiling of the expo’s timely and resonant theme: “Eco Pasko: Celebrating Green Tourism,” setting the stage for a shift towards responsible and community-focused travel bookings in the Philippines.
Unveiling a decade of purposeful travel
The program began with the welcome remarks from Florence Rivera, President of NAITAS, who highlighted the association’s commitment to steering the industry towards environmentally conscious practices.
“For 10 years, NTEX has been the trusted platform for Filipino travelers. Now, we are elevating that trust by prioritizing purpose alongside value,” said Rivera. “The ‘Eco Pasko’ theme is our promise to foster travel that not only delights the visitor but also protects our planet and supports our local communities.”
The comprehensive 10th NTEX Overview was delivered by Joseph Chua, Vice President, Internal, NAITAS, who detailed the upcoming expo’s unique focus on eco-conscious packages, sustainable itineraries, and partnerships with operators who champion green certification.
Strategic partnership for sustainable hospitality
A highlight was the address by Geraldine B. Gomez, General Manager of SAVEA Bay City Manila, the official partner for the media launch.
“We are proud to stand with NAITAS in championing sustainable tourism,” Gomez said. “As a key player in the hospitality sector, SAVEA understands the imperative of eco-friendly operations. This partnership reinforces our collective mission to ensure that our beautiful destinations are preserved for generations to come.”
Bryan Pascual, PR Officer, NAITAS delivered the closing remarks.
The media launch successfully signaled that this year’s NTEX is not just a marketplace for travel deals, but a movement toward a greener future for Philippine tourism.
