Embracing the warmth and spirit of the Filipino Christmas season, Seda Manila Bay welcomed the holidays with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration themed “The Joy That Brings Us Together.”
Held at the hotel’s lobby, the event gathered esteemed executives, community partners,and special guests to mark the beginning of a festive and heartwarming Yuletide season.
Gracing the celebration were Emile Otte, Cluster General Manager of Seda NCR and Nuvali; Atty. Clara Sereno, Head of Legal of AyalaLand Hospitality; and FSUPT Liher L. Barrios, DSC, City Fire Marshal of the Parañaque City Fire Station.
The program commenced with the opening remarks by Jose Luis Abellar, Director of Sales of Seda Manila Bay, followed by a festive message delivered by Atty. Sereno.
In line with the evening’s theme of unity and community spirit, the hotel also honored the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) as its community hero for their exemplary service and dedication.
Guests were serenaded with nostalgic Pinoy Christmas songs performed by a live quartet, adding a heartfelt touch to the evening’s celebration.
The highlight of the event was the ceremonial tree lighting, led by Niel Inocentes, Director of Rooms; Atty. Sereno; and Otte. This year’s Christmas tree features a warm, organic, and sustainable aesthetic, showcasing intricate craftsmanship using natural materials, woven fabrics, and artisanal elements. Inspired by cherished Filipino holiday traditions and delicacies, the tree embodies the artistry of local handcrafts and weaves—celebrating a season deeply rooted in heritage, joy, and connection.
Following the lighting ceremony, guests enjoyed a lavish buffet curated by Seda Manila
Bay’s culinary team, featuring Filipino favorites and timeless classics. A highlight of the
spread was a festive live station serving puto bumbong and bibingka, evoking the flavors
and nostalgia of cherished Christmas gatherings enjoyed with loved ones.
